I'm still alive but is a rough period in my life. I have to sell my house and do not know where to live. I need all my energy to arrange things and I have no energy left to be creative. My kitchen and my garden I will miss the most, life is hard ;o(

Hannie Sarris, my mom, passed away last night around 22:45. All of her 4 sons and her husband were with her at her last moments. The exact cause of her body failing so fast is not yet known, other than that she suffered from lymphoma and bone metastasis. She died far too young, but she had more passion than anyone I ev...er knew. My inspiration for a view at life and achieving your dreams. We love you and miss you so much..

Last year I did a week workshop at here place, the Blue Doll I made there. I was drinking tea with her not so long ago, she was a great person and Doll maker,she was too young to die and
we will miss her very much.

My thoughts are with her husband and four sons.

I'm stucked again in my creativity, I was bored of what I was doing and I wanted something new. But yeah, you have to learn and that takes time and I'm hard on myself it's never good enough. There is plenty going on in my life, many unpleasant things I must deal with. Life is not always easy but it may not be an excuse.
The remarkable thing is that I'm always feeling happy when I am creating so what is holding me? I'm just too much inside my head.
I have to go for what I really want!So when I saw this,I thought yes!

The theme for Mixed Media Monday is Enchanted. I was having great fun to make this collage for my sister. She is becoming 70 years this week. She is a nurse a cook and driving a Fiat for more then 50 years ands she is crazy about cats and playing cards. To see my family in another world, I found it enchanting. She is a colorful person that's why I used the copic markers like this;o)I used pictures from the internet,Land of Nod and Nancy thanks for the other images.

Something New is the theme at Mixed Media Monday. I wanted to try a new technique. I have seen something beautiful at Dianes Blog. Bleach pictures and then add colour with crayons or watercolours. I've tried several times but it was harder than I thought. I had to throw away 3 pictures before something useful came out. I have been a bit sick and my daughter has moved out the house and I cried so many tears, I've got to let go but that is not something I have got in my genes. I have an empty nest syndrome and I am going to spoile my son I am afraid. Perhaps he is going to live with me till he is 40 (LOL)
I am paralyzed in my creativity for a while now, I want to move on with other techniques but I don't know how yet.I miss working with my hands and colours.
I found this video, I think it's a good lesson why so much fear?

Sad story. For Mixed Media Monday. This statue is sad because she is from stone and not painted like Mona Lisa. Her life would have been really different, colorful and excaiting. She is standing at the same place over and over in wind and rain. Mona has been all over the world and people are watching here all her life. The grass is always greener somewhere else, I know;o)

Here is my entry, it's a wax collage.
The theme I have chosen is a helping hand because that's what we give and get from in each other Blogland;o) I used glossy paper, (it works the best with wax). I combined it;o) Aclyric paint and crayons. Images from Teesha Moore. Zetti (aka Zettiology) is a folk art style originated by Teesha and Tracy Moore. There's no real definition but there are some common characteristics such as static faces, striped legs, shapes for bodies, bright colours, found images, objects and papers, and lots of pointy hats.
